Description
Ephemerality is an ongoing exploration that captures the subtle and often impressionistic beauty of transient moments through a diverse grouping of single photos bound together by the theme of ephemerality. This body of work is crafted using an array of cameras, reflecting my thirst for experimentation and openness to differing technologies. Through this journey, I seek to push the boundaries of artistic fine art photography, experimenting with different tools and techniques to capture the fleeting nature of time and experience.
As both a scientist and an artist, I am engaged in an ongoing journey to unearth the unfamiliar, using photography as a tool to explore the mysteries of our perceptions and perspectives. Ephemerality presents each photographic fragment as a testament to an ever-shifting reality, encouraging viewers to honor their own evocative (or ambiguous) points of view. This work, including elements of perception photography and black and white fine art photography, invites viewers to contemplate the transient nature of life and the fleeting moments that shape our understanding of the world around us.
